Matthew and Desiree (getting ready to tie the knot!)

I met Matthew and Desiree at Highland Park for their engagement session yesterday... we had a great time, but I'm pretty sure I know who had more fun ;) I mean, when your job is to kiss and "act like you like eachother" and you kinda already do, well, that's a recipe for a good time :)

Baby Seth

What better way to welcome Seth to the world than with some sleepy pictures in the nursery with his mommy ;)



Seth also happens to be the little brother of Levi who has been seen here before.

two families - one heart

On a hot July night I went to Rob and Armita's house to meet with them about their wedding ceremony pictures... so hot in fact that while I was knocking on their door, they couldn't hear me over their upstairs bedroom that was air conditioned... Ahh, the blessed toasty nights we get here in NY. They're so few I try to enjoy them and not complain ;)

Finally though, we got it together and sat down for a lovely chat about wedding pictures. Such a sweet and caring couple, I felt right at home as we sat on their modified barn/work shed's porch in lawn chairs with our drinks setting carefully on a hanging platform.

They really only needed me for the post ceremony pictures, they weren't interested in doing the whole ceremony because for them, it was just a formality. They were joining their two families, almost grown, and together they just all fit. It wasn't about Rob and Armita, it was about the whole new family... and that's what they wanted the pictures of :)
